In the vicinity of the old town center, it is worth visiting the fairytale castle Colomares, the 33 meter high stupa in the butterfly park.
Benalmádena-Costa, on the other hand, is fully geared towards tourism. In addition to the marina, which is really worth seeing, you can visit two aquariums, the Sea Life and the Selwo Marina Dolphinarium. The small city park Parque de la Paloma is very beautiful. Other attractions include the Bil-Bil Castle, a replica of a Moorish castle that was not made until 1934.
In the Arroyo de la Miel district is the Tivoli World amusement park, which is popular with children. Right next to it is the valley station of the cable car. This brings you to the 769 meter high Calamorro. The view from up there is simply spectacular in good weather.
In the vicinity of Benalmádena there are many other zoos, water parks and attractions for young and old. Don’t forget to take a trip to Málaga.
